An Event for Every Occasion

Nearly 100 family-friendly events take place on the LA Waterfront each year. From movie nights to festivals, performances to concerts, most are free and open to the public.  LA Waterfront signature events like LA Fleet Week® over Labor Day Weekend, or Cars & Stripes Forever!® which kicks-off the Fourth of July holiday weekend, have quickly become popular annual traditions for locals and visitors alike.  Don’t want to miss out? 11TH ANNUAL CARS & STRIPES FOREVER!


When: Friday, June 28 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. 
Where: Harbor Blvd. / Vincent Thomas Bridge, San Pedro
 

Hosted by the Port of Los Angeles, Cars & Stripes Forever! is a free community celebration to kick off Independence Day weekend, featuring a classic car show with more than 100 cars built before 1975, as well as exotic cars and motorcycles.

This family-friendly event is a perfect blend of action sports, punk rock and craft beer tasting at the scenic LA Waterfront at the Port of Los Angeles on Saturday, June 22. Ages 5 and under are free with paid adult admission.

Cars & Stripes Forever!® kick-offs the Independence Day weekend with more than 100 classic cars built before 1975, live music on two stages, a beer garden, food trucks and a spectacular fireworks display to crown the evening.

Enjoy an evening of free entertainment, delicious food, and family fun at Wilmington Waterfront Park. This year, the Fiesta will feature a night market from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and the movie Ferdinand from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Southern California's Labor Day tradition, LA Fleet Week®  is a free event that honors our nation's Sea Services, and includes public tours of visiting military vessels, live entertainment, gourmet eats, military demonstrations and more.

Celebrate Halloween with a fun, free and family-friendly event for kids of all ages!  Enjoy the costume parade, music, reptiles, games, arts and crafts, face painting and more. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Downtown Harbor and Wilmington Waterfront Park.
