The LA Waterfront is a short car trip from many locations in the Los Angeles region. Just 25 miles from downtown Los Angeles, and 18 miles from LAX airport, getting here is easy. There’s plenty of free or inexpensive parking available too. Or hop on bus service to San Pedro with METRO, DASH or Commuter Express. Need to get around town while visiting? Jump on the free LA Waterfront Trolley which will take you to the main attractions around the LA Waterfront.

Getting around the LA Waterfront


Passengers are encouraged to jump on and off the LA Waterfront Trolley at their convenience. Thanks to the San Pedro Historic Waterfront Business Improvement District, the San Pedro Downtown Trolley is a free service for locals and visitors alike. Running along Harbor Blvd. the Trolley Route will take you to the Los Angeles Maritime Museum the Battleship Iowa Museum on its way to the Gateway Plaza and Fanfare Fountain at the entrance to the Los Angeles World Cruise Center. The Trolley then goes through Downtown San Pedro on 6th and 7th Streets and also visits CRAFTED at the Port of Los AngelesBrouwerij West, and the SS Lane Victory
