Recreational Docks

Boaters will love that the LA Waterfront offers free, open-to-the-public recreational courtesy docks for short-term docking, available daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Downtown Harbor (Berth 85).

Who needs a gym membership when you can work out for free on the LA Waterfront? The Port of Los Angeles has installed more than a dozen fitness stations at select locations on the LA Waterfront, including Wilmington Waterfront Park, 22nd Street Park, and along the Harbor Boulevard Parkway Promenade in San Pedro to encourage a healthy lifestyle on the LA Waterfront.

Featuring exercise equipment from the HealthBeat® Outdoor Fitness System, each fitness station offers workouts ranging from abdominal crunches, leg lifts, push-ups, pull-ups, cardio steppers, chest/back presses, stretching, and even Tai chi wheels.

Overnight parking is available and no reservations are required. Most lots are open seven days/week, 24 hours/day. Courtesy shuttles are provided to and from the cruise terminal on scheduled ship days. Shuttles are not wheelchair accessible. Parking rates are $2 each hour, with an $19 daily maximum. A fun way to get around town, the free San Pedro Waterfront Trolley makes a continuous, 25-minute loop from San Pedro Fish Market to Los Angeles Maritime Museum, Battleship IOWA, Historic Downtown San Pedro (two stops), CRAFTED/Brouwerij West, Cabrillo Beach, Cabrillo Marina (DoubleTree Hotel) and S.S. Lane Victory.
