Fireworks, Fenders, Food & Family Fun
Kicking off an exciting lineup on the LA Waterfront, make sure to head to San Pedro for the 11th Annual Cars & Stripes Forever! on June 28 from 5-10 p.m. It will take place at Harbor Blvd. and the Vincent Thomas Bridge, adjacent to the Fanfare Fountains on the LA Waterfront promenade. A free shuttle to and from Downtown San Pedro will be available, as well as low-cost parking at Harbor Blvd. and 1st Street. The family event is free and open to all ages. More than 100 pre-1975 classic cars and motorcycles will be on display, surrounded by live bands performing on two stages with Radio Active, In Contempt, and Midlife Crisis topping the list. A tempting assortment of food trucks will serve up local cuisine, along with an adjacent beer garden. Crowning the festivities will be a dazzling fireworks presentation that begins at 9:15 p.m.
